Digital Twin of An Automated Robotic Cell
|
|
|
In partnership with industry leaders, Research and Innovation, St. Clair College, utilized Tecnomatix Process Simulate software to create a digital twin of an automated robotic cell for virtual commissioning. This project aimed to integrate robot programming within a virtual environment, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of robotic cell setups. Key technologies included advanced robot simulation tools, virtual reality integration for enhanced interactivity, and a robust virtual commissioning platform to identify and rectify potential issues before physical implementation. Researchers focused on integrating digital and robotic programming, while the Simulation and Modeling Team developed and refined digital twin models. The Technical Support Team provided ongoing support for software and hardware issues. This initiative underscores St. Clair College's leadership in integrating simulation technologies into educational and practical applications, advancing the capabilities of digital manufacturing and robotic automation.

OVIN STEM Robotics AR Solution - Expanding Learning Through Augmented Reality
|
|
|
The OVIN STEM Robotics Digital Curricula is an advanced web-based platform developed to inspire Grade 7 and Grade 9 students in STEM, automobility, and robotics. It combines hands-on learning in robotics assembly, coding, and STEM theory in a single, easy-to-use platform.
This platform builds on the curricula originally developed for the OVIN STEM Learning Workshops held in 2023 and 2024. Now digitized, it offers several key benefits, including scalability, allowing more students to access the material; repeatability, enabling students to revisit lessons as needed; and on-demand access, offering flexibility to learn anytime, anywhere.

Organized by the Gordie Howe International Bridge team and Pillar Nonprofit Network, the summit brought together local organizations, non-profits, and delivery partners to focus on strengthening the Sandwich/West Windsor community.
The event featured expert-led sessions on essential topics like grant writing and organizational growth, providing participants with tools and resources to address challenges and drive future investment.
