Kevin Roy
Program Lead
Kevin received his diploma in Computer Networking Technology at St. Clair College and is a committed advocate for the local maker space community. Since 2014, he has partnered with Additive Manufacturing companies to develop materials, design custom solutions, and educate the community about 3D printing technology. The custom-built machines he introduced to the Windsor-Essex region were the first of their kind, and some remain in use today. Kevin currently manages the 3D Printing Lab at St. Clair College, providing on-demand 3D printing services to researchers, faculty, students, and local businesses. As a lead researcher, he mentors student researchers on projects related to the circular economy, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), additive manufacturing, and more. His diverse experience across industries such as manufacturing, construction, clean energy, and agriculture broadens the scope of innovative applications, driving forward the institution's commitment to new technology and community impact.
