
Eric Ellis
Researcher
Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Windsor. A Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Wayne State University. He worked for several years as a student researcher on projects ranging on topics such as Drug delivery, Biomaterials, Electrochemistry, Nero-regeneration, Fuel Cells/Batteries and Medical Devices. Eric has traveled to China work on global engineering challenges. This project involved battery swapping technology for commercial electric vehicles to improve uptime with Toyota and A123. Eric is currently a lead researcher at St. Clair College’s Research and Innovation department, guiding a group of student researchers on a battery manufacturing digital twin research project.
