Chris Peirone
Chris Peirone is a graduate from the Automotive Product Design program at St. Clair College as well as a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Fluid Dynamics and a Bachelor of Applied Science with a Materials Option graduate from the University of Windsor. From Oct 2019 through July 2023, Chris worked in the cryogenics team at Anyon Systems Inc, a quantum computing company based in Montreal Canada. During his employment, he was the lead designer in various projects such as deposition systems, cryostats, Helium-3/Helium-4 dilution refrigerators, scalable quantum computers, pumping systems and facilities designs. Prior to graduating from the University of Windsor, Chris worked for a manufacturing company for several years where he worked his way up from a general labourer to a machinist, CAD/CAM specialist and eventually management. In July of 2023, Chris joined St Clair College’s Research and Innovation team where he is lead researcher in various mechanical design and manufacturing projects. Chris is also a Part-time instructor at St. Clair College for the Engineering Technology Department.
