
Beckie Berlasty
Knowledge Translation Manager
Beckie Berlasty holds the position of Knowledge Translation Manager, Research and Innovation at St. Clair College. Beckie completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Windsor, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Education while simultaneously earning an Early Childhood Education diploma from St. Clair College. She holds a Master of Education degree from the University of Windsor, wherein her thesis research explored educational outcomes for children as they relate to socioeconomic status. Beckie is an Ontario College of Teachers certified English and social science educator and has worked for several years at St. Clair College in a number of capacities, including as a College Instructor and Learning Facilitator. In September 2020, Beckie joined St. Clair College’s Research & Innovation team as a Project Lead, overseeing an NSERC funded College and Community Social Innovation grant titled Addressing Child Literacy Concerns in Windsor-Essex County through a Place- and Equity-Based Cradle to Career Approach. In her current role as Knowledge Translation Manager, Beckie oversees the efficient and effective management of research and innovation projects, primarily in the social and health sciences.
