Dr. Kathryn Markham-Petro

Professor, Educational Developer
Kathryn holds a Doctorate in Education from Western University, a MA in Leadership and Education from University of Guelph, a BA from the University of Windsor, and an Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma from St. Clair College. Kathryn has been a professor at St. Clair College since 2000, teaching in the Concurrent ECE, Liberal Arts, and Honours Social Justice & Legal Studies degree program. During her time at St. Clair College she has taught in online, in person, and blended programs and had developed courses and programs throughout the college system.
Kathryn has participated in and led mentoring programs for new and experienced educators, along with collaborative inquiry projects within local school boards. Kathryn's research has been in the fields of early learning and social justice, having been an adjunct and lead researcher on St. Clair College research projects.
Kathryn hopes to support new and experienced faculty in developing their own pedagogy and improving the quality of the classroom experience for students.
