Ava Couvillon

Ava holds a diploma in Electromechanical Engineering Technician – Robotics from St. Clair College. She has worked on several research projects to help industry partners solve their innovative problems. Ava is the lead robotics researcher at St. Clair College’s Research and Innovation department where she oversees students for all robotics research projects. Ava has experience operating both industrial and collaborative robots, vision systems and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). She has worked on the Mushroom Gripper project at the college, developing a robotic solution with the use of collaborative robots and 3D guided vision for the mushroom picking process, and is now leading multiple AMR research projects at St. Clair College.
